In response to inquiries on whether new employees still need negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test results acquired within the past three days, the municipal taskforce of Beijing on epidemic prevention and control for resumption of work and production stated that starting April 19, new employees from places other thanmedium or high-risk areas will no longer be required to provide negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test results obtained within three days prior to their first day of work.

Instead, a green health code and normal body temperature will be accepted for new employees to be on board. In addition, all of them must maintain good personal protection and follow the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.

According to epidemic prevention and control requirements, those coming from medium or high-risk areas still have to present negative nucleic acid test results obtained within three days prior to their first day of work.
