Surprises and interesting videos on Spring Festival charms and touching Chinese stories have been prepared for the first seven days of Year of the Ox 2021. Produced by the Information Office of Beijing Municipality, the 7-episode video series, "I am in Beijing for Spring Festival" tells the stories about seven people of different nationalities and in different trades who spend Spring Festival 2021 in Beijing. In the video clips, these people are interviewed by foreign reporters to share their life and work experiences and stories about Spring Festival.

Liu Wei, from Henan Province, is a doctor from the Infection Department in the First Hospital of Tsinghua University. As more people needs nucleic acid test results for travelling back home before the Spring Festival, Liu and her colleagues go all out for the increasing demand to a peak capacity of 900 testings per day. This Spring Festival, she chooses to stay in Beijing and sticks to her post. On New Year's Eve, she plans a simple but special celebration by gathering for dinner with her colleagues. "My biggest wish for 2021 is that COVID-19 will disappear, so we can take off face masks and breathe fresh air," said Liu.
