Beijing unveiled a plan of 300 key projects with a total investment value of 1.3 trillion yuan (about 201.89 billion U.S. dollars) on Wednesday, according to local authorities.

The projects include 100 major infrastructure projects and 100 major livelihood improvement projects. They also involve 100 projects for sci-tech innovation and high-tech industries. So said the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform.

The infrastructure projects cover transportation, energy, water supply, waste disposal, and other fields. The livelihood improvement projects aim at balancing allocation in education, medical care, and other resources.

The rest of the projects highlight Beijing's efforts to speed up the construction of an international innovation center and actively build a digital economy pilot and demonstration area. The projects embrace advanced manufacturing industries, such as integrated circuits and biomedicine, and the financial and service industries.
