This is an official announcement of the municipal government of Beijing regarding the COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) requirements for new employees of all units in Beijing and other related issues to further strengthen regular pandemic prevention and control in accordance with arrangements of the municipal steering group for COVID-19 prevention and control.

I. From January 1 2021 to the end of the period of COVID-19 prevention and control, all new employees are required to present a negative COVID-19 NAT result (a printed report, or the nucleic acid test page of "Beijing Health Kit") within three days prior to the date of new employee registration.

II. New employees may only be allowed to enter the workplace with a normal temperature measured on the site and proper personal protection after presenting a negative testing result, and are required to comply with all epidemic prevention and control requirements.

III. New employees with a positive NAT result shall follow the requirements of the disease prevention and control authority to be duly reported and treated in a timely manner. Registration of new employee shall be proceeded later upon his/her recovery to normal health conditions.

IV. New employees recently registered may pay attention to proper personal protection according to the actual exposure risks in the workplace and are encouraged to take COVID-19 NAT tests on a regular basis if necessary.
