Beijing maintained a steady upturn in the volume of imports and exports in the latter half of 2020, seeing an uninterrupted increase in four months. In November, the imports and exports of Beijing continued to rise to CNY 200.2 billion with an 8.8% increase month-to-month.

Facing the COVID-19 worldwide, the efficient trade of commodities from Beijing to other countries and regions was achieved thanks to the improved business environment for cross-border trade.

Since 2020, Beijing Customs has worked to identify real needs of enterprises while taking into account the characteristics of the capital's foreign trade and carrying out researches in multiple dimensions, and actively supporting the comprehensive development of their exports. Beijing Customs has strengthened the awareness of service to provide targeted help and assistance to enterprises while identifying accurate concerns and difficulties to improve the international competitiveness of their products.
