On the morning of November 7, the theme activity of "Digital Inheritance, Linking the Future" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage began at the Jingshan Civic Cultural Center, hosted by the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau and the Beijing Central Axis World Heritage Application and Protection Office. The event focused on the digital protection and transmission of cultural heritage around UNESCO's theme of The Next 50 - 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention (16 November 2022): World Heritage as a source of resilience, humanity and innovation.

At the event, the official website of Beijing Central Axis (https://bjaxiscloud.com.cn/) was launched for trial operation, opening a new digital chapter for the cultural heritage of Beijing Central Axis. The official website will also launch the "Time and Space Capsule," a 4-D time and space product, in an effort to reproduce the history of China's ancient capital. It is projected to offer multilingual versions to tell the story of the Central Axis to the world.

In addition, the interactive H5 of Beijing Central Axis - Meet the Next 50 has been launched online, and users can check the official WeChat account of "Beijing Central Axis (北京中轴线)" to get a digital experience.
