On October 28, the last themed filming event of the 3rd "Beijing - A Global City" Short Video Contest was held, in which more than 70 foreign experts from over 30 countries, including Ireland, Italy, and the United Kingdom, visited Pinggu District to experience Beijing's harmonious, livable and internationalized leisure environment.

The district's cultural tourism sector stands out as its gem. During their tour of the Red Oak B&B, foreign experts marveled at its unique charm. James McCrory, the Middle School/High School Principal of Canadian International School of Beijing expressed his surprise, saying: "I've never known that there is such a wonderful place in Beijing. Pinggu is my ideal destination for family outings."

Known as the "Little Switzerland in the Suburbs of Beijing", Bibo Island of Jinhai Lake Scenic Area offers a leisure mode combining camping, dining, afternoon tea, music festivals, bazaars, and commercial meetings, providing a fashionable and internationalized setting. Mayentao Komani, a Malian expert from Beijing International Studies University, remarked after the visit that "Many foreigners living in Beijing are unaware of these excellent ecological resources or the stunning view of this lake. My hometown can learn from this travel mode combining in-depth, rural, and green tours with superb support facilities."
