The "Hello, Beijing" program, an immersive cultural experience designed for expatriates residing in Beijing, was officially launched on September 1. Sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the program aims to enhance Beijing's appeal to foreign nationals while contributing to the capital's high-quality development and its commitment to opening-up the new era. Under the theme of "Hello Beijing", the program is aligned with Beijing's aspiration to become an international communication center and requirements of optimizing services for international talent to support the development of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone (the "Two Zones" for short). The program will feature a diverse range of captivating and immersive activities, with the aim of enhancing cultural publicity and promotion, presenting the essence of Beijing, developing inbound travel experiences tailored for foreigners, and encouraging cultural and tourism consumption among expatriates living in Beijing.

The activities for 2023 "Hello Beijing" program center on Beijing's intangible cultural heritage (ICH) items, showcasing ICH items with innovative and cultural approaches. With the aim of making traditional culture exciting and appealing, these activities embody innovation in both format and content. Two immersive activities, namely "Enjoy ICH" Music Experience Day and "Little Bunny" ICH Family Day, will be held.
