To enable the public to enjoy ice and snow sports, five municipal parks, namely the Summer Palace, Beihai Park, Taoranting Park, Zizhuyuan Park and Yuyuantan Park, will hold the 9th Ice and Snow Carnival.

The five parks have different time schedules for the carnival in accordance with the weather and location conditions. The Taoranting Park and Yuyuantan Park have have taken the lead and opened snow play areas on December 28.
