On December 18, Beijing Forum on Party-building-led Reform of Swift Response to Public Complaints kicked off at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Themed on "Super-large City Governance Driven by Public Demands", the forum focused on how to better serve the people, highlighting changes to governance. Moreover, in-depth discussions were held on topics of major concern to urban governance and how to jointly promote the modernization of the urban governance system and capacity. The forum also released the following documents showcasing key achievements: Insisting on Putting the People First and Creating a Better Life Together - Report on Beijing's Party-building-led Reform and Development of Swift Response to Public ComplaintsTheoretical Researches on Beijing's Party-building-led Reform of Swift Response to Public Complaints, and Typical Cases of Beijing's Party-building-led Reform of Swift Response to Public Complaints.

The forum consisted of an opening ceremony, a main forum, six parallel forums, and a closing ceremony. In addition, the achievements of super-large city governance driven by public demands were on full display in an exhibition which introduced Beijing's reform of swift response to public complaints and the history of governance in various cities in a scenario-based manner.
