Themed activities for 2021 Beijing Design Week are set to take place from September 23 to October 7 at Zhangjiawan Design Town, the National Agriculture Exhibition Center, the China Millennium Monument, the City of Design Building, and the Gehua Building, etc. These activities fall into five basic units, such as academic construction, public events, industrial cooperation, professional events, and service platforms. 

As the guest city for this Design Week, Helsinki, capital of Finland, will focus on the theme "Joint design for better life" and showcase sustainable "Smart Solutions" in relation to education and urban development.
