Recently, 2021 Beijing Peony Culture Festival was inaugurated in Xishan National Forest Park. In seven exhibition zones all over urban and rural areas of Beijing, more than 1,900 mu (1 mu equals to 1/15 hectare) of peonies, with more than 600 varieties, will bloom in succession, and the period for viewing will last till the end of May. 

The above-mentioned seven exhibition zones refer to the Xishang National Forest Park, Jingshan Park, the Summer Palace, Beijing Botanical Garden, Yanqing-based World Grape Expo Park, Jiuxian Township Guizhou Peony Park, and Dayushu Township National Peony Garden.
