The bulbous flower display area is located at the west side of the Education Center. It covers 4,000 square meters, with more than 100 varieties of tulips and over 200,000 of them on display at the exhibition. The theme of the main exhibition (called Yangshulin) is Blooming with Prosperity, Auspiciousness and Goodwill (Huakai Fugui, Jixiang Ruyi). The exhibition area showcases auspicious Ruyi-shaped Chinese symbols with peacock, against a three-dimensional, harmonious backdrop of tall poplar trees and peach blossoms. Bulbous flowers like daffodils and hyacinths are planted around the main exhibition area alongside seasonal herbs and flowers, which looks like an ocean of blossoms painted on a huge palette.
