The Palace Museum

Opening Hours: 8:30-16:30; ticket sales start at 8:30 and end at 15:30 (including The Gallery of Clocks and The Treasure Gallery); last admission at 15:40. Closed on February 11 (Spring Festival's Eve) and reopening on February 12 (lunar New Year's Day)

You may purchase tickets on the ticketing website of The Palace Museum (https://gugong.ktmtech.cn/), or via its official WeChat account (故宫博物院观众服务) for ticketing (ID: gh-9e5fe6402d5d). Second-generation ID card or passport is required for real-name reservations and ticket purchase.

You should present health code, have your temperature taken and swipe your ID card when entering the museum.

National Museum of China

Opening Hours: 9:00-17:00 (last admission at 16:00); closed on Mondays (except for statutory holidays); evening visits are temporarily canceled.

All visitors should make reservations online and reservations are limited in number. Visits within seven days can be reserved before 16:00 every day. Group reservations and onsite reservations are not accepted.

You can enter the museum only after you register with your ID card, present the real-time health code (or the health code claimed in advance on the day of visit via the Health Kit (Beijing Jiankangbao) mini-program), and pass through health check.

Staff-guided tours are suspended temporarily.

The Capital Museum of China

Opening Hours: 9:00-17:00; closed on Mondays.

You should make a real-name reservation through the official WeChat account of the Capital Museum of China (ID: capitalmuseum) and visit the museum at the scheduled time. Otherwise, you are not allowed to enter the museum.

Group reservations, phone reservations and onsite reservations are not accepted now.

You should have your temperature taken, present the health code on the Health Kit (Beijing Jiankangbao), present your second-generation ID card for reservation information verification, and get your ticket at the entrance of parking lot or at the entrance of the north square. Wear a mask at all times during your visit.

Poly Art Museum

Opening Hours: 9:00-17:00, Monday through Saturday, (except for statutory holidays)

You may make reservations online via the official WeChat account of the Poly Art Museum (ID: polyartmuseum).  

Elderly visitors and other special visitors can make offline reservation.

Online reservation should be made at least one day in advance.

Offline reservation can be made on the day of your visit, but you should make registration.

Temple of Ancient Monarchs

You should make real-name registration online and select the time you would like to visit.

You may make reservations via the official WeChat account of the Temple of Ancient Monarchs (ID: bjlddwmbwg). You can enter the temple only after you provide the correct proof of reservation, present the real-time health code on the Health Kit (Beijing Jiankangbao) mini-program, and have your temperature taken.

Group reservations are not accepted now.

National Art Museum of China

Opening Hours: 9:00-17:00; closed on Mondays (except for statutory holidays)

You should make real-name reservations via the official website or the official WeChat account of the National Art Museum of China (ID: namoc2016) 1 to 7 days in advance with your second-generation ID card or passport. Elderly visitors aged 60 or above can make registrations at the reservation booth with their senior citizen certificate and ID card and enter the museum directly.

You should present your valid ID card, reservation code, and health code, and have your temperature taken when you enter the museum.

China National Film Museum

Opening Hours: 9: 00-17: 00, Tuesday through Friday; 9: 00-20: 30, Saturday and Sunday; closed on Mondays; not excluding statutory holidays. 

You should make real-name reservation via the official WeChat account (ID: cnfm2005) at least one day in advance. Phone reservations and onsite reservations are not accepted now. Only visit with reservation is accepted.

For visitors making reservations with the ID card, you should present your ID card for verification, use the Health Kit (Beijing Jiankangbao) to scan the QR code to register, have your temperature taken, and then enter the museum with your reservation code.

The Art Gallery of China National Academy of Painting

Opening Hours: 09:00-11:30, 13:30-16:30, Monday through Friday.

Real-name online or phone reservation should be made in a limited number for staggered visit. On-site reservation and group reservation are not accepted.

Please click "Exhibition Booking" on the official WeChat account of the art gallery, and scan the QR code to book the exhibition within the next 7 days. Reservation can also be made by calling +86-10-68411369 or +86-10-68416559 during working hours.

On the day of visit, your valid ID card, reservation records, and health code must be presented for verification. Entry is allowed if no abnormality is detected.

Beijing Museum of Natural History

Opening Hours: 10:00-16:00; closed on Mondays (except for statutory holidays).

Limited online reservation is adopted. Please make reservation at least 1 day before visit. The ticketing system is updated at 11:00 everyday, offering tickets for the next three days. Before entering the museum, visitors must have their temperature taken, use the Health Kit (Beijing Jiankangbao) to scan the QR code for registration, travel history check, etc., present their second-generation ID card to verify reservation information at the entrance. For children without ID card, their guardian should present hukou (household register) for verification.

The Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution

Opening Hours: 09:00-17:00; closed on Mondays (except for statutory holidays).

Please book tickets via the official website, official WeChat account, mobile app, IVR self-service system (only for individuals) and other official platforms of the museum. You may reserve tickets 10 days in advance. For tourist groups (20 people or above), please submit relevant materials in accordance with corresponding requirements, and then register an account on the official platforms to make reservation.

On the day of visit, please enter the museum from the audience entrance at the south gate. Visitors must present proof of successful reservation, original certificates used for reservation, as well as the real-time health code (or the health code applied for in advance on the day of visit via the Health Kit (Beijing Jiankangbao) mini-program), and pass through routine checks.

Xiangshan Revolutionary Memorial Hall

Opening Hours: 09:00-16:30; closed on Mondays.

The hall is normally open during national statutory holidays. Further notice will be announced for opening during the Spring Festival holiday.

Beijing Planetarium

Opening Hours: 09:00-16:30; closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (except for statutory holidays).

During the Spring Festival holiday this year, the planetarium will be closed from February 11 to 13, and open from February 14 to 17.

Tickets can be purchased through the official WeChat account of the planetarium.

Beijing Folklore Museum

Opening Hours: 08:30-16:30; closed on Mondays.

Tickets can be reserved through the official WeChat account of the museum.
