Daxing District Global Investment Promotion Conference took place in Beijing's Grand Metropark Longxi Conference Center recently.

The conference focuses on continuously expanding the district's global vision, making the district more appealing for attracting foreign investment and facilitating international trade, highlighting cutting-edge technologies and high-end industries, and providing robust support to growth-oriented enterprises with promising prospects. The unique highlights of Daxing in its economic growth, sci-tech innovation and industrial cooperation were fully demonstrated, contributing to the establishment of a new channel for the district's prosperity and advancement.

The conference also showcases the progressive development of several CNY 100-billion-level industrial clusters, including Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone, Daxing Biomedicine Industrial Base, and Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone. Representatives from Daxing District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, Daxing Biomedicine Industrial Base, Beijing China-Japan Innovation and Cooperation Demonstration Zone, and a number of other industrial parks signed project cooperation and investment contracts with representatives from 42 enterprises. The signing ceremony included five foreign-invested projects, with an estimated total investment of USD 120 million. There was a notable increase in the number of enterprises involved in the signing ceremony over the previous year. The enterprises are expected to bring a total investment amount of nearly USD 1.5 billion to Daxing, covering industries like cell technology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, information and software industry, virtual reality, special equipment manufacturing, R&D of artificial intelligence, and construction engineering. The investment will effectively contribute to the development of biomedicine, aerospace, hydrogen energy, digital economy, and other industries in Daxing District, and drive the district's economic growth through resource collection, innovation promotion, and improved quality and standards.

Daxing is at the forefront of Beijing's opening-up efforts and is constantly enhancing its openness and expanding its functionality as a platform for international exchange by leveraging the advantages of its airport economic and pilot free trade zones. It aims to establish a high-standard institutional system for opening up the services sector and driving high-quality development through higher levels of openness. With great enthusiasm, Daxing is inviting more partners to join forces and collectively create a new chapter in economic development.
