The list of the third batch of recognized foreign-funded research and development (R&D) centers in Beijing was recently announced, with five enterprises in the Capital Airport Economic Zone approved. These include Beijing Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Beijing LabTech Instruments Co., Ltd., Beijing Med-Zenith Medical Scientific Corporation Limited, Beijing Embraco Snowflake Compressor Company Ltd., and Kemur Microelectronics Inc.
Foreign-funded R&D centers have played an important role in better pooling global innovation resources and promoting industrial upgrading. With a large pool of talent and advanced research and development achievements, they will attract higher-quality foreign investment and drive rapid regional economic development.
