Tan Xuxiang

Tan Xuxiang, male, Han ethnicity, was born in May 1966. He holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Tan is currently a member of the Party Leadership Group of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Vice Mayor of Beijing, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee (concurrent) and Director General of the Administrative Commission of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (concurrent).

Responsibilities: 

Tan is in charge of work related to environment, housing and urban-rural development, water, cultural heritage, forestry and parks, national defense mobilization, and the Administrative Commission of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center.

Tan oversees Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (Beijing Municipal Housing Affairs Office), Beijing Water Authority, Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, Beijing Municipal Forestry and Parks Bureau (Office of Beijing Greening Commission), Beijing Municipal National Defense Mobilization Office, Beijing Major Projects Construction Headquarters Office, and Beijing Housing Fund Management Center.

Tan is in charge of liaison with Beijing Meteorological Service, North China Branch of State Grid Corporation of China, and State Grid Beijing Electric Power Company.
