Qi Yanjun, male, Han ethnicity, was born in October 1964. He holds a doctorate degree in Engineering and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Qi is currently a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress, a member of the Party Committee and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and Vice Mayor of Beijing. Qi is also Party Secretary, Director-General and Chief Inspector (concurrent) of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, and Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee (concurrent).
