Vice Mayor Yang Jinbai
Mr. Yang Jinbai, of the Han nationality, born in April 1973 in Jiangling County of Hubei Province, joined the Communist Party of China in December 2003 and began his career in July 1994. He is a master of engineering and a senior engineer, and obtained his master's degree in electric power system and automation from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He is currently Vice Mayor of Beijing, a member of the CPC Leadership Group of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and Chairman of Beijing Disabled Persons' Federation.
Responsibilities: Mr. Yang Jinbai is in charge of civil affairs, commerce, veterans affairs, and the construction of Beijing Daxing International Airport.
Mr. Yang Jinbai oversees Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau (Port Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality), Beijing Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau and Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center.
Mr. Yang Jinbai is in charge of liaison with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing), Beijing Disabled Persons' Federation, Beijing Garrison area and Beijing Customs.
The previous leadership positions he held include:
Deputy Director (in charge of division's work) and Director of the Operation Mode Division of the Power Dispatching and Communications Center under China Southern Power Grid (CSG), Deputy Head and a member of the Party Committee of China Southern Power Grid (CSG) Power Dispatching and Communications Center;
Secretary of the CPC Leadership Group and President of CSG Guizhou Power Grid Co., Ltd;
Director General, Vice President and a member of the CPC Leadership Group of CSG Strategic Planning Department;
Vice President and a member of the CPC Leadership Group of State Grid Corporation of China;
Vice Chairman and a member of the CPC Leadership Group of the Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
