Vice-Mayor Yin Yong
Mr. Yin Yong, of the Han nationality, born in Wuhan, Hubei Province in August 1969, joined the Communist Party of China in May 1994 and began his career in January 1997. He is a doctor of engineering and obtained his master's degree in system engineering from Tsinghua University. He's currently a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Vice Mayor of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and a member of the CPC Leadership Group of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality.
Responsibilities: Mr. Yin Yong is in charge of economy and IT application, the supervision and administration of state-owned assets, the supervision and administration of local finance and work related to intellectual property.
Mr. Yin Yong oversees the work of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology (Beijing Municipal Bureau of Radio Management, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Big Data Management, Beijing Municipal Office for National Defense Related Science and Technologies), State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Beijing Local Financial Supervision and Administration (Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work), Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park and Administrative Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
Mr. Yin Yong is in charge of liaison with Beijing Communications Administration, Operations Office (Beijing) of the People's Bank of China, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission Beijing Bureau, and China Securities Regulatory Commission Beijing Bureau.
The previous leadership positions he held include:
Deputy Director of the Reserves Management Division and then the Strategic Research Division of the Reserves Management Department, State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE);
General Manager (division-chief level) of the China Investment Corporation (Singapore);
Deputy Director-General of the Reserves Management Department, SAFE;
Chief and Member of the CPC Committee (deputy-director-general level) of the Central Foreign Exchange Business Center, SAFE;
Chief and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee (director-general level) of the Central Foreign Exchange Business Center, SAFE;
Assistant Governor, Member of the CPC Committee, and then Deputy Governor and Member of the CPC Committee of the People's Bank of China.
