Svetlana, a native from Moscow, came to Beijing in 2019. She is currently working in the Liaison Department of the World Tourism Cities Federation, providing assistance to city members. She frequently communicates with embassies of those respective countries, in addition to arranging events and activities.

Svetlana lives a very fulfilling life in the nation's capital. In her spare time, she learns Chinese and Spanish, takes various fitness classes, and studies design in a clothing store. "I like the fashion element. And especially after coming to Beijing, a diversified city, I have more inspiration." To her, fashion isn't just for the avant-garde. Traditional Chinese clothing with its long history and deep cultural deposits display certain uniqueness in fashion and beauty.

To Svetlana, Beijing is a very fashionable and distinctive city. Its fashion reflects the blending of modern civilizations with a bit of historic culture. "In the future, I will design more clothes with Chinese cultural symbols so that more people can understand Beijing, this beautiful city."
