A British lad Dean (Chinese name: Di Renjie), carrying his dream of becoming an actor, came to Beijing all the way from the UK in 2019. He likes being exposed to new cultures, attempting various lifestyles and thus giving deeper thoughts on acting.

Dean started to get obsessed with the unique culture and distinct flavours offered by this city when he first came to Beijing. His time here has been enriched by loads of things: learning Chinese, playing guitar, performing on stage etc. For Dean, performing stand-up comedy weekly in a small theatre is his happiest moment of all. One step closer he takes to the theatre, it's one step closer to achieving his dream.
