On July 20, China's first franchise store providing "personalized cosmetics-related services" was officially opened by Beijing Cose Health Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cose Health") in Beijing after the company was granted the approval for piloting personalized cosmetic services through this "first store" by Beijing Municipal Medical Products Administration, thereby creating a new business model for the cosmetics industry in the city. The approval allows Cose Health to provide consumers with personalized cosmetic products and services that involve direct in-store experiences featuring cosmetic ingredients. The store will offer customized serums and creams that match the varied skin characteristics of customers.

An intelligent skin testing system will help analyze the skin-related data of consumers scientifically and accurately, determine the skincare needs of consumers, and create corresponding customized service plans. Consumers will be able to choose their favored textures to acquire personalized products tailored to their skin characteristics and preferences. Their diverse skincare needs will therefore be met.

Following the approval of this piloting store, Beijing Municipal Medical Products Administration will guide and supervise the enterprise concerned in a prioritized way by helping it establish quality management systems compatible with its personalized service model. The Administration will also put in place an array of operational regulations, including those regarding product registration, inspection and testing, and sales management to effectively ensure the quality of personalized service products.
