A book fair consisting of the "book vans" of several major bookstores on Wangfujing Street celebrates the coming Chinese New Year.

Several major bookstores along Wangfujing Street have launched a book fair consisting of several "book vans" to welcome the coming Chinese New Year. This popular fair will run until January 30. Seven bookstores and large book malls, including the China Bookstore, Foreign Languages Bookstore, Xinhua Bookstore's branch on Wangfujing Street, Beijing Book Building, and Wangfujing Bookstore, have set up over ten booths offering a range of activities such as exhibitions and ancient book restoration. Customers can also purchase various Chinese New Year-themed cultural and creative products besides books.

Not far from the book fair, there is a pop-up store of "Beijing Youli" (Beijing's municipal-level souvenir platform), which looks like a colossal gift box to enhance the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year. The store showcases various Beijing-style gifts for the Chinese New Year, including cultural products and fridge magnets incorporating the elements of the Year of Dragon, toy blocks featuring the classic bus series in Beijing, and time-honored gift boxes, among others, captivating visitors with the rich variety of offers.
