The 2nd Beijing Expo Park Lantern Festival will be unveiled on December 21. This year, the festival will incorporate new elements of scientific and technological lighting and projection shows, offering visitors captivating spatial light and shadow art experiences.

The 2nd Beijing Expo Park Lantern Festival will open on December 21

Featuring two themed areas, namely "Sci-tech Light and Shadow" and "Intangible Cultural Heritage Lanterns", the festival will illuminate an area of 300,000 square meters with a total of more than 150 groups of 200,000 lanterns and technological lighting devices from 17:00 to 21:00 every day. The lantern tour route extends 3 kilometers, linking key landscapes of the park such as the China Pavilion, Longqing Street, the Botanical Museum, Guirui Theater, and Yongning Pavilion, integrating brilliant lights and shadows at night with the park's ecological landscapes.

The festival is scheduled to run until March 15, 2024.
