Beijing Garden of World's Flowers will welcome its first night tour festival on Thursday, and it will last through October. The garden of over 40 hectares will be transformed into a giant space of light and shadow, brightening up the city's night-time economy.

The garden will be decorated with luminous and shadow arts to mimic the vibrant daytime scenery. A total of 16 light show areas combining the night tour with nature will provide a whole new experience to visitors.

In a bid to enrich people's experience at the festival, the garden will hold various cultural activities, such as Earth-themed concerts and parties.

According to people in charge of the festival, various new technologies and gadgets will be used to help people to better enjoy their nighttime visits in the garden.
