A bookstore street focusing on the "Charms of Literature" has recently been built in Nanxiaoshun Hutong near Qianmen, Dongcheng District of Beijing. Built on the "Bookstore Plus" concept, it integrates bookstores alone with numerous other elements such as restaurants, hotels, and performance spaces in order to further promote an experiential type of consumption.

With reading as its focal point, the street aims to be an integrated and comprehensive commercial street featuring places of interest, eye-catching products, fascinating stories, and spaces where visitors can have unique experiences. Led by the principle of reading being available for all, the block has introduced a professional bookstore cluster and placed bookstores at the center of its integrated development to create a unique cultural space in the Qianmen area that embodies the charm of literature. In doing so, the area will also become an open innovative platform for cultural exchanges.

The block's first phase project is currently underway, with four bookstores featuring the themes of clothing culture, health culture, female culture, and tea culture opening their doors. The second phase will feature a literature-themed hotel and an immersive theater scheduled to open before the end of this year.
