According to Article 25, Chapter III, of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests, consumers have the right to return products purchased through online shopping, television shopping, telephone shopping and postal shopping within 7 days (starting from the day they receive the product) without providing any reason. However, this Article does not apply to the following types of product:

1. Custom-made products;

2. Fresh or perishable products;

3. Downloaded or opened audiovisual products and digital products, such as computer software;

4. Delivered newspapers or journals;

In addition to the goods listed above, other products, depending on their natures which have been accepted by consumers at the time of purchase, shall not be subject to unconditional return  policy.

Products being returned should be intact and in good condition. Sellers must refund the payment to consumers within 7 days (from the day upon which they receive the returned products). Consumers must bear the freight costs caused by product return, unless business operators and consumers have another agreement on freight charges, in which case they must refer to that.
