At present, the digital economy is having a profound impact on global economic formation. The IDC projected that the production value of the digital economy is expected to account for 62% of global GDP by 2023. The world is accelerating into a new era of the digital economy.  

As a global benchmark city of the digital economy, Beijing is accelerating to trailblaze this new sector. The 2022 Global Digital Economy Innovation Competition was launched in Beijing on April 7. The event aims to assemble the necessary means, promote the integration of digital technology and the real economy, stimulate enterprises' innovative vitality to boost the development of Beijing's industries related to the digital economy.

A large-scale competition in five locations will be held during the event. And the global final will be hosted at the China National Convention Center at the end of July, 2022.
