The 2023 Conference has set up the "guest country of honor" for the first time. Through high-level overseas conferences, it aims to create a platform for exchanges and cooperation for the advancement of the global digital economy development landscape.

Diplomatic envoys to Singapore from China, the United States, Russia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Venezuela, Brazil and Estonia also attended the event on June 8, which was a high-level international digital economy forum bringing together experts, scholars and business representatives from China, New Zealand, the United States, Australia, among others.

Attendees there highlighted the crucial importance of cooperation for technological breakthroughs, scenario creation and industrial empowerment. Cooperation allows nations and industry players to seize development opportunities and further tap into the digital sector's potential and market. Guests engaged in in-depth discussions at the Digital Economy Summit, with a focus on topics such as data governance and trade digitization.

The Global Digital Economy Conference 2023 will feature an opening ceremony, a main forum, six summit forums, six featured events, multiple thematic forums, and a series of themed activities. There will also be a "Digital Night - Lighting the Pulse of the City" ceremony, the launch of the Global Digital Economy Partnership City Cooperation Initiative, and the release of the White Paper on the Global Digital Economy.
