The 2022 Global Energy Transition Forum (hereinafter referred to as the "Forum") is scheduled to take place in Beijing's Future Science City on September 17. The Forum will consist of the opening ceremony, the main forum, seven special sub-forums, the signing ceremony for investment projects, and an exhibition of technological achievements.

This year's session will feature four firsts of the Forum: the first time a Nobel Prize laureate has been invited to participate in the Forum; the first time all of the central State-owned enterprises based out of the Future Science City, including key enterprises in the energy field, will be on hand to participate; the first time Beijing's achievements in the innovation of its energy sector will be on display; and the first time the forum will be open to enterprises and the public at large.
