Numerous projects such as those of the use of a generative AI platform to accelerate the research and development of RNA drugs, innovative treatments for osteoarthritis and cartilage repair drugs, and conductive biomaterials are now presented on the same stage. The final of the sub-competition of the biomedicine field the overseas competition areas of the 7th Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Competition was recently held in Beijing. A total of 22 outstanding scientific and technological projects in the biomedicine field from around the world participated in the final roadshow in a combined online and offline format.

The excellent projects in this final will advance to the sub-competition of the biomedicine field of the 7th Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Competition. Moving forward, the competition will provide a multi-dimensional service system including investment and financing services, market matchmaking services, and listing training sessions, offering companion services to innovative enterprises, to accelerate the commercialization of the latest global cutting-edge technological achievements, and facilitate the rapid growth of frontier enterprises.

It is understood that the 7th Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Competition was launched in May 2023 and will be concluded in May 2024, under the theme of "Opening up new fields in frontier technology, cultivating new momentum for development". The competition consists of eight major competition areas, including four overseas competition areas and four domestic competition areas, covering 12 industrial fields, namely

AI, integrated circuits, big data and cloud computing, mobile communication and Internet of Things, Internet 3.0 (including virtual reality and metaverse), biomedicine, medical devices (including health services), intelligent manufacturing and new materials, smart vehicles, green low-carbon, new energy, and financial technology.
