On March 2, the "Old Books, New Knowledge: Reading for the Nation" event kicked off at Baoguo Temple Antique Book Market in Beijing. This event is focused on used and antique books, while also offering engaging activities that highlight the creative products based on intangible cultural heritage items, and traditional tea ceremonies, among others.

More than 200 booths were set up at the antique book market, offering over 10,000 exquisite old books spanning categories like literature classics, historical works, natural sciences, art and design, as well as social encyclopedias, and more.

In the specially designated "Book Sharing Zone", visitors can showcase and discuss their cherished vintage books (without limits on the number of books they can bring), engage in free book displays and interact with book enthusiasts and vendors from all corners.

The activities at Baoguo Temple Antique Book Market will take place every Saturday and Sunday from March to October, with the market open from 10:00 to 16:00.
