Chang'an Grand Theatre was built in 1937. As a well-known time-honored theatre, it focuses on classic plays, especially performances of various art forms represented by Peking Opera. While retaining the traditional Chinese opera's original arts, Chang'an Grand Theatre's repertoire also follows the changes in culture over time and provides a platform for academic exchange between opera performers, experts, and playgoers.
